Return and Refund Policy

Our Commitment to Safety & Satisfaction

At Lizmok Pharmacy, your health and safety are our top priorities. Due to the nature of prescription medications and healthcare products, our return policy is designed to comply with strict state and federal regulations to ensure the integrity and safety of all products we dispense.

Medications (Prescription & OTC)

For the safety of our clients, we cannot accept returns of any prescription and OTC medications once it has left the pharmacy. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Opened or used medications.
  • Medications that have been stored outside of our direct control (e.g., taken to your home).
  • Discontinued or unused medications.

Why? Once a medication leaves the pharmacy, we cannot guarantee its storage conditions, handling, or that it hasn’t been tampered with. Accepting it back for resale or reuse could pose a serious health risk to other patients.

What to do with unused medications: For the safe disposal of expired or unused medicines, please:

  • Ask our pharmacists about our medication take-back programme.
  • Visit the FDA website for local safe disposal options.
  • Do not flush medications unless the label specifically instructs you to do so.

Exceptions:

  • Dispensing Errors: If you believe our pharmacy has made an error in filling your prescription or serving your OTC medication, do not use the medication. Please contact us immediately and return the product to the pharmacy for investigation. We will work swiftly to resolve the issue.
  • Manufacturer Recalls: In the event of a manufacturer recall, we will contact you directly with instructions for return and replacement.

Durable Medical Equipment (DME) & Supplies

  • Unopened/Unused Supplies: Items such as sealed diabetic testing strips, unopened wound care supplies, or incontinence products may be returned within 24 hours with a valid receipt, provided they are in original, resalable condition.
  • Equipment (CPAP, Walkers, etc.): Returns or exchanges on durable medical equipment are handled on a case-by-case basis due to hygiene and safety regulations. Please contact us prior to purchase with any questions. A restocking fee may apply.

Personal Care, Beauty & General Merchandise

Items such as cosmetics, skincare, greeting cards, and other general retail goods may be returned within 24 hours with a valid receipt, in new and unused condition with original packaging.

Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will gladly arrange for a replacement, exchange, or refund upon return of the item.

Refunds

  • Returns with Receipt: Refunds for eligible items will be issued in the original form of payment. If paid by credit/debit card, please allow 5 business days for the refund to post to your account.
  • Returns without Receipt: For eligible items without a receipt, we may offer an exchange or store credit at the current selling price, subject to management approval and valid ID.

Special Order & Compounded Items

All special orders and custom-compounded medications are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or refunded, as they are prepared specifically for you.
